What a powerful quote by Raymond Hernandez. I know as an educator I can not change the way children or being taught and if they are receiving the help they need. I do know that if I can reach one child I am making a difference. Thank you for sharing your quote.
Louise Derman-Sparks quote truly fit her meaning of passion because, as she stated in the media segment that as a child she would play school with her dolls and easel board. She also mentioned how she loved being around children and babysitting. Raymond Hernandez quote on passion fits him because, as stated in the video that he would love to make a difference in a child’s life. A change to him in a child’s life would put a smile on his face. Also in the media segment he mentioned how he could of spent his time doing something else but he took the time out to visit a child an made a difference in that child’s life.
I love both of these quotes because I can really relate to them in many ways! I have always been a leader and always had a love for working with people, and helping them. A couple of years ago I saw one of my toddler students and he was taller then me. His dad remembered me and told me that they still had pictures of me from 12 years ago. When I see the growth in children and the impact that I have on their lives, it assures me that teaching is my purpose!!
